You cannot go on holiday on a match day

I get this message everytime I want to go on holiday in my 4th division team, match day or not.

Anyone know why this is and how to get around it?

I know you cant go on holiday on match day but to get it all the time is obviosly a bug. Perhaps you should post in the bugs forum.

Hmm, as far as I am aware, this happens when the game is not activated, or is a pirated copy.

Not suggesting you are a pirate though.

I can go on holiday on a match day, have done so since FM09, don't bother watching the games nowadays.

Might have been something like that, cause next time I started the game, it asked to be activated again.

Was the 2nd or 3rth time it asked to be activated after the install btw.

Just tell team bus driver to get you into the airport before reaching the stadium.

Windows vista have a problem creating licence files *lic* ( not sure if activator makes one in fm10) , just right click and run as admin .

do u have an assistant manager? that could be the problem, nobody to look after the team in your absence

If you try to holiday on a matchday you can't holiday 'until next match'. All other options work fine for me, too.

This is getting really annoying. Everytime when I start fm after starting windows I need to re-enter my key. Anyone know how to get round this (without starting as admin every time).

Create a shortcut on your desktop and you should be able to set the properties on the shortcut to always run as Admin.

Yes, isn't that what you wanted? If the program needs to be run as admin, then that is what you'll have to do surely?

Actually programs like fm will not do anything to your computer if it had admin privileges.

You dont have to click "Open as Administrator" each and every time you start fm.

What other reason could there possibly be? Maybe he thinks FM will hack his web browser and start looking at mini football porno sites or go looking for some snuff movies, or perhaps even 2 Girls 1 (FA) Cup?
