Digs_473
Problem? Most people would give their right leg to rid themselves of a chairman! Just curious: do you still get someone accepting transfer offers on your behalf etc.?

Aye, and the Nazi's were praised by the Polish in WW2, so on yer bike:P jokes aside, it's because Quinn or Lawell or whoever retires was replaced IRL by the former home secretary, John Reid, and JR is not in the game, so he cannot take over despite the fact he is meant to. Problem solved

trekman
Speaking of Rangers did anyone see the game through the week? They had a competition and the winner was a guy called Craig Hunter! Don't suppose it was Ter do you? I checked and he hasn't mentioned it.

Problem solved </div></BLOCKQUOTE> Apparently (according to SI) John Reid is in the database but they forgot (or whatever) to link it up so that he takes over so SI reckon you should be able to make it happen by playing with the editor. Having said all this I've never checked the database to confirm it is correct, also it is purely cosmetic as having hadthis happen in every game on 802 it appears to make no difference to how the game works. fbc_89
It's a known problem as mentioned. Wasn't a matter of forgetting though, John Reid is in the game and was set to become chairman after Brian Quinn retired. A fix for the problem can be found here.
