Andrew j F Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 think the defending is awful on this game? to many goals go in, in my game the teams in mid table seem to conceed just below the team who is bottom but they score loads aswell, free-kicks for the computer go in so often, my team free-kick taker matt richards is not crap at free-kicks, in real life he swung a brilliant free-kick saturday, but i didn't score a free-kick all season, also penalties go on to long in shoot outs, their hardely missed at all in open play, i've never seen one go wide or over, the only thing that puts me a tidge of the game is how often the computer score free-kicks, but i'll not stop playing it because it is the most interesting playable game ever. Reddogg99 Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 I have managed to tighten my defense up by making sure my centrebacks are set to ultra defensive mentality. I managed to go 6 straight matches without conceding and my defense is much better, also helps my GK has gotten incredibly hot. Does seem like too many breaks from the CPU. I tried to post about it earlier to see how many were having this problem, in the leaking goals thread. Though i've always found GK to be the most important position to get right on FM.
