Downloading the patch without using steam

Hi everyone,

Im having major issues downloadin the new patch 10.1 through the website.....i am not using steam and ive just manually installed FM2010 but my mate wants to play online and he has steam and his is patched so i need to get it sorted.

I can download the 'apparent' patch but when i goto the patch it wont let me run it even though its an .EXE file.

Has anyone else had this problem??

if so can anyone please help or if someone knows other place apart from the FM website to get this patch so i can get it.
