crowsus Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 not sure i should be recounting this as it may be some kind of fraud, but a friend of mine spilt a large quantity of liquid over another friend's laptop (celebrating an old firm victory too enthusiastically!) which looked like curtains for that machine. The 'victim' was able to get a slightly inferior replacement laptop on his house insurance, then unexpectedly got his old one back fixed! So he was able to sell the replacement for half its value and keep the original which he preferred anyway! So all may not be lost! Fingers crossed!
