Dan Dirtyape
There's only one database now, any edits you make to it are saved as xml files in the (My) Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\editor data folder. When you start a new game you will be given the option of adding these xml files into the new game.

senorcoo
Yeah, there are no database choices unless you do a custom edit or SI releases a database update with a patch.
Maidel
you dont select them on the first screen, you choose the default database and then on the next screen you can pick which updates you want to apply.
trekman
you dont select them on the first screen, you choose the default database and then on the next screen you can pick which updates you want to apply. im not asked When you start a new game you pick the database then to the right is a button marked change. Click on this and you'll be taken to the screen that Maidel mentions. If you dont tick the change button then you will not be able to load the changes you've made to the database.
