Pawel_lfc
Just finished my second season as Liverpool manager. I used 'normal' tackling throughout the season, yet I finished with the highest number of bookings in the Premier League and second highest in the Champions League. Mascherano finished with 17 yellow cards, Skrtel with 15. Total bookings in Premier League Liverpool - 79 Aston Villa - 68 Newcastle - 68 Total bookings in Champions League (knocked out in semi final) Valencia - 25 Liverpool - 23 Juventus -
Fall Ark
Mascherano is hell of a magician. He just keeps producing those cards from nowhere....
Hershie
I'd imagine you're pushing high up, or leaving gaps, for example between midfield and defence, or down the wings. If the fouls are cynically halting counter-attacks etc, then bookings are to be expected.

Actually a lot of the bookings happened around the centre of the park by the likes of Gerrard, Torres and Aquilani in the first minute of the game. Hershie
Perhaps passing is suffering due to players becoming isolated and so players losing the ball, and then being desperate to win it back? Or they're running into cul-de-sacs and doing similar.
Dicko99
i use more aggressive tackling and im not even the top 5 in the booking league
flashback790
I can't get my players to tackle, let alone get booked, on normal tackling and get a success rate of less than 30% while theirs in in the 80's. Defending is appaling in this game.
Pawel_lfc
Same again is happening. No SI comment.
Yuan
I'm facing the same problem, but not with Mascherano. Another defender (Mathias Jorgensen) and he broke all records for discipline. And I seem to notice that other teams are getting loads of cards as well. Even Barca was breaking discipline records left and right.

Asim
i usually play with more aggressive tackling and only lee catermole gets high yellow cards due to his naturally high aggression, i put him on normal if he plays.
Misodoctakleidist
I tend to find that the number of bookings depends more on your formation and tactics than on your tackling setting. If you are being outmanoeuvred by your opponents then your players have to resort to fouling a lot more than usual so they pick up more bookings. gooner83
tactics tactics tactics..... if tackling is set to 'normal' then how the hell does it make u get more cards if ur using 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 for example?
