Player unhappy at being substituted

(DISCLAIMER: Searched the above so I assume there are no other threads on this topic. I don't think this constitutes a bug - either way, apologies if I have failed atrociously in posting here)

I signed Ebi Smolarek on a free for Norwich (oh yes) and he is (unsurprisingly) someone I am keen to keep fresh. I can't help but feel that it's a bit mad that he is CONSTANTLY unhappy at being subbed when he has scored a hatrick and played a 9.4. I'm sure personality has an impact but I don't really want him getting unsettled when I just want a 100% player.

Oh and my god this is an enormous improvement on 2009, well played SI!

Anyone else having this problem?

I never sub a player that is doing so well as he is with you unless his condition has dropped or he's picked up a knock, i mean would you want to be taken off when your doing the biz?

Smolarek is a bit of a troublemaker, have to take that into account.

Yes but I'm almost definately sure that Smolarek has very low hidden ratings (professionalism etc.) so that may be why

I didn't realise smolarek was such a little oik! Well maybe it's credit due to SI then, if others are having no probs taking off good players. I had no point of reference considering Smolarek is so good that he would get 9's and everyone else would get 6.9 and so I was never subbing any other high performers. Cheers for responses!
