Jambo_Dave Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I started a game as Foggia in serie c and in my first season won the division, followed by the next season winning serie B by 10 points so 2 straight promotions to serie A. My reputation at that point changed from unproven to regional and my aim for the following season was to "battle bravely against relegation" I told the board we'd finish in a respectable position and ended up finishing 5th with a team of kids and a pitiful wage budget compared with other teams in serie A. I thought that was pretty good and the board were obviously delighted but at the end of the season my rep changed back to unproven and thats where it is now. Surely a manager who takes a tiny club to 5th in serie a and only 1 point off champions league football from serie c in 3 seasons would not just be "unproven" and even then, your reputation shouldnt drop after a successful season?
