Peluch Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I have the genoa fc and are in January. now I want to buy Oscar Cardozo of Benfica, but then I can use it in the UEFA Cup as he has already played for Benfica in the first part and now has been eliminated? If Oscar Cardozo has participated in the Europa League this season with Benfica, then he would not be able to play for another team in the Europa League that season. He would be cup tied, I am afraid, as per UEFA regulations. Does this answer your question?
