jayahr Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I just completed my first full season on FM10, getting Newcastle promoted to EPL again. Being stripped of cash I obviously tried to get as many free signings as possible. In that I had a lot of success, but actually a bit too much to still consider it realistic. So in May and June 2010 I managed to sign on a free: Van Bommel Van Nistelrooy Burdisso Deco Van Buyten (could have got Beckham as well if I wanted) all with no(!) competition from any other club in the world! Surely especially the latter should not be the case when these players become available for free, even though they are mostly quite old (but as still good enough for my team). They all were happy to sign a 1 year deal with me after being offered 20-30% less than what they demanded. I'm still more than happy about this but frankly it's a bit odd (though not enough to post it in the bugs forum straight away ). Anyone else finding signing players under these circumstances a bit too easy as well? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
