PA CA related stufff...pls read on

as far as im concern, i would first like to ask,how you guys managed to figure out the PA and CA of a particular player.

ignoring the fact that fm genie scout is not out yet.

because, right now, the scout is out and im totally amaze at what im seeing.

the PA of -10 of certain player - which is around 180 and above.

is not what it seems to be.

i put one very good example to you guys.

i did a genie scout on areola - PA of *, CA of *.

but according to genie, he would never reach 193. After 'ticking' 'show maximum potential ability' it says 123.

what happens to Otemendi, salvio ?

they are known to be a *. From my save game, im getting a *

fabio and rafael... ?!

i did a trial run.

new game and scout.

guess wad, fabio and rafeal * each. Otemendi * ?

areola *?

hmmm.. as much as it may be seems, i believe that every single player out there doesnt have a certain PA

even if it does, it does not gurantee to reach that PA, unlike the older fm.

areloa is a very good example.

then again, it might be me getting all the mis-conception.

so if any kind soul out there, would like to enlighten/clarify me with this?

you might want to edit the post and remove/spoiler cover the PA as people might not want to know this.

genie isnt a good indictator of anything tbh

least of all the potential stats that the player could get too..

all genie does is spread the stats out according to pa..

so the short answer is ... if the player is young enough and you train him right.. he WILL reach his potential.. or very near it....

again.. genie scout is a good tool (if not cheating imho) .. but it certainly isnt 100% accurate in its calculations of a players maximum potential stats

your coaches are idiots, just like all coaches

I'm not too sure about this, but Genie Scout and other such applications determine future stats by looking at how a player's CA increases naturally with age and not considering other factors such as tutoring, injury, and of course first team experience. Can someone confirm this?

So Areola has such a high PA on your game - Genie Scout will work out how his PA progresses as he gets older. Considering he starts off with such a low CA, his future CA isn't going to be anywhere near.

It's just me theory though.

the past genie wasnt like this, it will max out their PA...

but as for now, there is a tendency the scout will not max out the PA

for eg areola - ca 70 PA 193, genie state his pa will be 123 in future

same goes for other player - PA of 170 +, genie state pa will reach around 168? 167? something similar.

having said that, it is not certain that all the player will have the same PA in different save.

like i said above, i can have areola with PA of 193 in one save and a PA of 173 in another save..
