He is playing in between standard defensive and midfield positions as a defensive midfielder with defensive duty. Livew1re Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 hes **** on mine too, i got ignacio camacho on a free when his contract was due to expire and i offered him a big deal. hes much better and much younger. i start him in all the games but also have mascherano tutoring him for his stats to rapidly rise.. eamonn2005 Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 chances are that you are playing him in a flat midfield 4? i reckon the only way to get the best of a specialist DM is sitting in front of back 4. which is realistic when u think of it becaus in a flat 4 mascherano is less effective than in a 3 man midfield where he holds for likes of gerrard and alonso. I just play Mascherano as a defensive midfielder with defend duty on and I get about a 7.10 average rating out of him, he's awesome.
