Manager Profile

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv241/seanparrish/brillman.jpg

Sean Parrish 33 years old and with basic manager skills has decided to take his first steps into management. With his local knowledge of English football and certain areas in spanish football in which his father helms from, Jobs should come thick and fast or so i thought. I applied for a jobs i thought i had a chance of with the likes of Chester offering me a contract straight away. I thought the 25point gap would be to big of a mountain to climb. Eastleigh then offered me a contract along with one of the youngest squads around Woking FC. I went away for a week to think about the offers and so i decided to go to Woking and turn kids into men.

Leage Position when took over

Sitting in 15th position very disapoitning considering the media predicted them to finish 2nd. So the pressure was on before we even kicked a ball.

One of the youngest in my squad and some potential seems to help the cause. Maybe some experienced players if i can attract them that is.

Woking F.C 2009/10 season summary

The media predicted for us was to finish 2nd and return to the Blue Square Premier but taking over in 15th position i knew i had a struggle to hit the expectations of 2nd place finish.

League Table

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv241/seanparrish/brillsq.jpg

Well after a slow start wins started picking up and an unbeaten run saw us quickly propell up the League Table. The final day of the season would see me sitting in 3rd place knowing a win for me was needed and other results go my way. It was going to be a tough ask but a 4-2 win over Weymouth put us top with results to still come in. Mainly from Chelmsford who could only draw which meant we were crowned champions of the Blue Sqaure South. But looking at the table only 5 points seperated 1st to 5th.

Cup runs

We were already knocked out of the qualifying rounds for the F.A Cup before i took over so i was hoping for a good FA Trophy run. The board wanted me to reach the 1st round atleast but i succeeded there expectations by reaching the 4th round before being knocked out by Stevenage 2-1.

Transfers Ins and Outs

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv241/seanparrish/brilltr.jpg

The team i felt was a very young squad and i wanted to continue like that especially as many more xperienced players rejected me. My back room staff gave me some names to have a look at. Most my signings would come from the free end of the spectrum apart from Kris Renton who cost me £2.500 pound. I signed 5 players while releasing 3.

Around the world transfers are below Chelsea paying the most by snapping up Luis Fabiano for £21.5mil while Man utd brought in Jeses Navas and Guiseppe Rossi. Real Madrid bought Andres Beck from Wolfsburg.

Key Player 2009/10

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv241/seanparrish/brillkey.jpg

Tom Hutchinson a 28 year old centre back who i decided would take over the captaincy. Mainly because he had a good presence in the changing and being one of the oldest in the squad. He kept the team going all season and made solid perfomances all season. Im hoping more next season especially now weve gone up a notch but a step closer to our goal of league football.

Manager Profile changes

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv241/seanparrish/brillmana.jpg

I felt pleased that we had won the title especially when i took over and we were struggling in the wrong half of the table. Next season will be harder but i feel i have the team that can avoid releagtion then look to cement our place in the league while taking another step in the long road. I was also crowned Manager of the year.

World Review 2009/10

Suprises were thrown up around the world as West Ham take 4th place and grab champions league football with Spurs Liverpool then Arsenal taking the rest with Arsenal winning the title. Fulham, Hull and Bolton got relagated and replaced by Newcastle who took title Boro and QPR who defeated Cardiff in the Play off. Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 to take home the FA Cup but lost 1-0 to Aston Villa in the League Cup. Roma took Seria A while La Liga crowned Barcelona as Champions and the Scottish Premier went to Rangers. The Europa cup was won by Villareal while the Champions League final was between Olympique Marseille and Chelsea with Chelsea winning the competition on penalties after the 90 mins and ET was drawn as a stalemate.

Next Season Review

My aim next year will be to avoind releagation possibly mid table but wether the board agree with me thats a different story. Im happy going into the new season with the squad i currently possess. Also had some good news regarding my debts.

100 views and no reply is it that bad?

Yep, but i will read. Im starting a game whereby i load some leagues from every continent available and try and win all domestic and continental competitions and thus be the best manager with worldwide success. Just wondering is there any challenge games like that as i cant seem to find one. Currently in at Cruz Azul in Mexican primera division.
