Opening up your body to shoot

Recommended Posts

I think we're all very familiar with players opening up their body to shoot the ball into the far post when they're in a shooting position, with the ball on their weaker foot. Theirry Henry has done it many many times. Owen just did it this season against Man City.

However, I can't remember the last time I see one in FM10. They do it for long shots but they never seem to do it once they're free in the box. No matter how weak their weaker foot is, if they're on the left, they always shoot with their left, and if they're on the right, they always shoot with their right.

Is it something to do with PPM? Does it need the "place shot" PPM? Or perhaps the "curl ball" PPM?

I play with two inside forwards cutting in and too often that they're free on goal, but shoot with their weaker foot. One of the reason why I put the left footer on the right, and vice-versa is hoping to see them opening up their body and place the ball into the far post!

Any advice?

Cheers
