Player filter

I am having a few problems when selecting first team players. I am on the tactics tab, and have a full list of players including reserve and under 18's. Usually I would then select the filter and untick the reserve and under 18's giving me only first teamers. However, the options are not there and the top check box is goalkeepers then defenders etc. Can anyone tell me how to get the filter like it should be, ie with the first team, reserve, under 18's, goalkeeper etc. so I can actually see who is in the first team.
