Bjaart
I got a message in my inbox after the last cup round. It read as follows; --- A.C. Milan cause Coppa Italia shock The main shock of the Coppa Italia was a win for league leaders A.C. Milan against underachieving Juventus. ---- Is it just me that find the word shock a bit strong here?
La Furia Roja
depends on how its worked out, if its on who the favourites are, scores, league position, expectations etc, but yer if its under normal circumstances its not really a shock
Bjaart
As it says in the news-item, 'league leaders A.C. Milan'. And it doesnt say anything about the score (they won 3-1 on their own pitch btw), the shock was the win apparently.
La Furia Roja
yer i didnt mean that it was because of the league position i was just listing some posibilites, just because it doesnt mention the score doesnt mean it isnt the reason. Basically i dont know why it says it i was just throwing ideas up
Bjaart
The way I read it is that the main shock was a win for Milan. Not the score, just that they won. I might be misunderstanding it, but that is how I understand it atleast. I just find it kind of silly, and its just one of many examples in my game where the word 'shock' has been misused.
