KOP Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 I am currently managing Wigan (insecure) , 1st season was not too bad and got 10th place but 2nd season can't defend, tackle etc...I am now bottom and relegated with 2 matches left and coming to the end of my contract...no doubt i will be sacked or not offered a new one.. I have tried different tactics but to no avail, even though other people are raving about them. I have a good squad and the players are in the positions are well suited but i just can't defend.... I lost 1-6 to man city and they only had 10 men... Players on man mark don't, balls played through are missed but my defenders and they just don't stick to the tactics that i have.... What to do??? Thats just conspiracy theories by people who dont understand how to play the game and just wanna win every game 7-0. I think Martinez is pretty close to this position in real life This could be down to hundreds of variables and not just tactics. The game is so indepth it literally could be anything.
