Steam Question

Hi,

I validated my game through steam, but now every time I load up the game Steam loads up aswell?

Do I need steam to run aswell as the game? Can I close steam when the gae is loaded?

I'm trying to save as much processing power as possible!

IF you open task manager you will notice that steam uses about 0.001% of your system resources, so really dont worry about it. But yes you can close it once you start play and it minimises to your system tray.

If you launch from a FM short cut, it doesnt even open the steam window. To do this - open steam, right click on FM and choose - desktop shortcut.

I activated mine thru steam but don't load up steam to play,just locate the FM10 exe in the steam folders and double click on it,works for me,you got to have the disc inserted tho (Y)

That means you have your game in the steam file, but installed via the disk - if you dont run it through steam it wont auto patch.

Just a thought.
