Giggs bug

for some reason in my game Giggs is natural in AMC, but only accomplished in LM and LW surely he should be natural there.

I thought AML was his natural? :S

Last season, and for the past few seasons Giggs has played in central midfield for United. Last season he was also commonly used as an attacking midfielder/second striker in Europe for United. That's why he is natural as AMC.

Only this season has Giggs reverted back to his old position of left wing. And since the data is based on last season, this hasn't been taken into consideration in the current patch.

yeah i know he played there for the last couple of season, but he played for 18 years on the wing so he should still be a natural there

Maybe they've taken his age into account when deciding this stat. Lets face it he's getting on a bit (and probably close to retirement imo) so can't be expected to run up and down the left wing for 90 minutes they way he did say 5 or even 10 years ago.

"Natural" is a bit misleading - in-game, "Natural" means "the best position they play in today". For Giggs, it's attacking midfield for now. Another example is Gerrard - natural AM C, accomplished M C despite the fact he's been an M C for a long time until recently.
