Transfers - Length of Contract Consideration

I tried searching but couldn't find anything similar.

I'm West Brom and I've put in requests to purchase Radja Nainggolom and Antonio Thomas.

Their clubs agreed to the purchase price and I offered them contracts. The first time they turned down the offer and I changed the offer and resubmitted an updated offer. The new offer to Nainggolom was Feb 12 while Thomas was Feb 10. I am now up to March 23rd and still haven't heard anything on the last contract offer. Even if the answer would be no, I could move in another direction as I have $9 million in transfer funds.

Does it usually take almost 6 weeks of game time to hear back?? Is there a way to force an answer from them.

i had a contract offer take 2 months and then get accepted, it does happen as they player 'wait' for a better offer from his club or another, this should only happen during non transfer periods, and no you cant speed it up
