Interesting Test

I recently put Cristiano Ronaldo into my St Albans (Blue Square South) team using the editor to see if he would be as dominant as he should be. He was totally dominant but I noticed that I kept getting messages about him being left out of the Portugal squad time after time. I guess this really proves that top flight football is the only way a player can force their way into the national squad and reputation has no influence at all because surely he would be a walk up start to any side, he also didnt seem to be all that concerned about it which is weird.

I noticed that Zeng Zhi never got selected for international duty at my Celtic team, also used to happen to Nakamura in fM09.

I could understand it if the player was getting on a bit and the manager was looking for fresh faces but when the player your leaving out is world footballer of the year then something isnt right.

beckham got left out of the england squad for going to galaxy and he was still a key player for them, it happens as the football level is so low their fitness and gameplay level will drop below international standard

I doubt if CR would be left out if he was playing only 1 level down from the top but this drop is straining credability. It has been proved before that the game code cannot always cope with extreme editing.
