Quad-core processor or more RAM

Hi, i have a AMD dual core running at 2.0GHZ with 2 gb of ram. I was wondering what would be a better update for FM? A quad-core or 2 more GB of ram.

I guess what I'm asking is whether FM can fully utilize all 4 cores.

quad core but your current specs should easily play FM as im a simular specs

yes mate it can and does utilize quad core.

Am running it on Quad Core 3.3Ghz and 8Gig of Ram it does and will use it to the max.

Example - I used to have roughly what your running now last year and game would be ok but slow processing more than say England Leagues to div 2 + France, Spain, Italy & Germany top divs or whatever. Waiting time for processing would get seriously annoying.

Now I have

England - to League 2

France, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Germany - Top and second divs

ALL of the other countries top Divs only

So alot of leagues and it runs fine mate - hardly have to wait at all - or at least no more than usual. Couldn't go back to playing with less leagues - the abundance of players etc is unbelieveable - so many more options.

just realised have inclined that Ram may be just as important - defo processor mate!!! sorry

thanks, i'll be ordering both it doesn't come out to be that expensive. And right now i run the default large database with 3 countries - not bad but I want more
