Press conferences

Just wondered what peoples opinions of these are. I personally find them quite boring and normally send my assistant to them. I'm just wondering in doing that though would that have any impact on my players moral etc?

I think the problem is that there is no option to minimise how many of them you get. Sending your assistant is a bad idea though, Do you lose alot of games?

Hate them with a passion. Same questions over and over, same answers as well. One before almost every game if you're a team with a lot of rivals (Like Juventus).

And sending the assistant isn't really an option, because of the ridiculous things he says from time to time..

I think they are a bit boring. Something SI need to expand upon. It would be nice to be able to somehow stamp your personality on them. Be a Mourinho or SAF, something like that.

On the whole, I would say I'm enjoying them much more than last year and I don't find them repetitive at all. In fact I don't think I've EVER sent my assistant to do them. They're a terrific way to boost moral.

I suppose they are a LITTLE better than last year. I just don't find them dynamic enough to waste much time on them.

I just find them really tedious especially after the first 2 or 3. I think they should be taken out as they're never going to be implemented in a way that they would be enjoyable, not for a long time anyway.

i cant stand them, i still sometimes play 08 so i can avoid them. I think SI either need to expand them by a lot or better still get rid of them.

They should DEFINITELY be removed.

They are an example of one of the features that sometimes makes FM feel like a chore.

It would be GREAT if SI could make press conferences optional...

It's abit of a gimmick really isn't it at the end of the day. People will argue it's a good way to imrpove moral etc but should the moral of players really hinge on what option we select during these press conferences. I very much doubt IRL players moral is affected by their managers press conference before a game, they probably don't even know what has been said during a pre-match press conference.

SI please remove them for FM11.

Don't remove press conference, it should be made just differently with more interactivity ( each question should depend on the moment, your performances, the player moral, the board confidence, etc... )

Remove them please, or make them optional at the very least. They don't add anything to the gameplay and are a tedious waste of time. Press conferences IRL don't have enough of a influence on players, if they have any influence at all, to be included in the game. There would have to be drastic changes to make them to be of any use and that time/resources are better spent elsewhere.

There should be a limit..like 1 per month or something. Either that or we should have more freedom in the format, and be able to decide what questions we want asked, and more options for answering. I realize this might be hard to implement - but the conferences really do get monotonous.

I like the idea, however, and don't think they should be removed - just edited. The big signing ones aren't too bad...
