football manager editor 2010

ive just bought football manager 2010, could someone help me with the editor. ive added a new player to a club, saved it.

but when i load up fm2010 and try to start a new game it doesnt give me the option to load up the edited database. it keeps loading the default database automaticlly.. could someone please help me on where i am going wrong

When you click 'new game' a pop up box should appear. In the bottom right hand corner of that pop up should be a 'change' box. Tick that and continue. You'll be taken to another screen, which lists all your database add ons that you've created. Select the ones you want to be included in the game.

Delete the config file. It's located in the same folder that you're taken to when you want to save your edited add on files. Delete that and the box should start appearing again.

I had same problem, uninstalled the game a couple of times as i was not getting the box popping up when starting a new game after the 2nd uninstall i got the box poped up and can now use my edited leagues.
