Installation process freezing and confusing message.

I have searched high and wide on this forum to see a solution to the problem I have when trying to install the game, which is why I've regretfully created a new post.

At first everything is fine and the installation screen appears I get to the option screen to load via steam or install offline where the DVD has to be present.. Currently at university the internet network security system doesn't allow steam to connect to the internet. So I click the other option.. I then click express installation and the bar at the bottom begins to try and install. The installation gets stuck on installing for ten minutes, then goes onto 'installing uninstall football manager 2010' for a further ten minutes until a mesage appears saying 'locate new media' - browse, cancel or try again. I don't know what to browse for and trying again just repeats the same irritating process.

Any help would be grateful as I can see no reason as to why this should not work. Very, very annoying!
