How to talk to players about their squad status?

In my press conferences there is a recurring issue about a player inquiring as to his role in the squad. How do I clarify this to the player?

Generally, reassess his squad status. If he's set to 'indispensible to the club' yet never plays, he may be confused as to why this is. So change it to 'rotation' or 'backup' Of course this may cause the player to be unhappy with his role at the club, but at least then he knows where he stands.

Go to players screen, then transfer status up right corner there you can set loan status as well, and there you can set the players role at the club from not needed to indispensable.

But as AnfieldRoad10 said keep your promises, if his first team the play him often , if he's a youngster then play him in reserves or under 18, 19 if he's indispensable then play him all the time, a backup player usually stays on the bench getting sub appearances.
