MightyBlade
I am a little confused as to why my PC is only given half a star for rating!! Windows XP Its a Pentium 4 3Ghz with 2gb RAM. I know this isn't exactly state of the art, but its alot better than the minimum on the box so why is it rated so bad. I have an extra 2gb that I can put in from another unused computer, however I am not going to bother if its barely going to make a difference! Any ideas guys? GillsMan
Your graphics card might be a bit crap. By any chance is it an integrated graphics card (i.e. part of your motherboard, rather than a separate card).
A8Rez
Yeah, I get half a star with my laptop also. Intel Dual Core @ 2.00 GHz, 4GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia 9600M GT. But I don't really bother as the game runs smoothly anyways.
FrazT
The current star rating system is not totally reliable at the moment so check if the game runs OK and dont worry too much about the stars.
stinger061
Yeah my laptop has the same rating. I play without the 3D match enabled as my laptop can't handle it, could have a bit to do with it really but the game runs along at a much faster pace than I had expected
MightyBlade
My graphics card is an Nvidia 8600gt, not integrated. Just a little disapointed because its way above the minimum spec on the box!!

Have you got any other programs running when you started FM as it has been stated that this will lower your star rating.

solstar
I always thought the star system was a very godo feature that helped ppl decide on what they needed or didn't need however it seems to need some adjustments which will hopefully be addressed in future. That is such a rubbish Cpu. Sure it has 3 billion cycles per second, but the P4 did nothing per cycle. A PIII 1333mhz was alot faster than a P4 1400. The way the P4 was built gave it potential for very high clockspeeds (at the time) but it did so little per cycle. Thats why a AMD Athlon running at 2ghz was faster than a P4 running at 3ghz. Not trying to be rude or anything, but your cpu is crap!
kee1234
does it make any diffrence if you have a dual core processor?
Butters76
Yes, FM10 definatly support SMP, I'm not sure if it can take full advatage of quad cores though.
