Irchard
Just got a message in my in-game inbox thing telling me that Sweden have formally advertised the position of national manager. I am two years into the game and it is the first time I have seen something like this (and obviously loads of teams and a few countries have hired new managers in that time), so does the fact that I am seeing this message mean they want me to apply? If it had come up in the news thing I wouldn't be asking, but I am just curious since it is in my inbox. Anybody seen this before?
david_vdb
Go for it I would say Yes, I think you actually make a shot when it has reached your inbox!
RyanBRFC
I think when a team wants you the press ask you. Its goes something like this "Declare interest in becoming manager of this team" "Declare you do not want to become the manager of this team" "Say nothing" And you choose one of them, I've been asked soo many times like that with top Spanish teams but Im only the manager of Luton

On 09 I was linked to Real Madrid while Derry City manager

Irchard
I don't want to manage Sweden anyway, I'm just surprised that they want me (if that actually is the case, which I remain sceptical about).
Falastur
Technically, when a team really wants you, you get offered the contract straight away... but it's an encouragement to apply, all the same.
