sportsfanmas Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 I took over club Necaxa in my game, trying to lead them back to the first division after relegation last year. I'm also trying to understand how this works. I can see that there is an opening round and a closing round in which you play each team once. I'm assuming each round has its own promotion playoff of 7 teams. so that's where I'm confused. do 2 teams get promoted? one in opening stage and one in closing stage? or just one? Does anybody know? Correct, they go straight to the semifinals. The remaining 6 teams playoff in a series of a 2-legged ties, with the 3 winners advancing to the semifinals.
