arsenalboy
I'm a bit confused. My first season in the Premiership, and the board wants a mid table finish - yeah, sure no problem boss. So where do I have to finish to satisfy these realists?
baker.simon
Hmm, i see what you mean. It can be open to interpretation. I'd class mid table somewhere between 8-14ish, but your board may view it differently and mean upper mid (8th).
Norville Rodgers
I would say between 8th and 13th. Like others says, it's so open to interpretation though. Certainly, it could alter depending on the chairman in question.

jayahr
Knowing that the expectation level above that is 'top half finish', i.e. anything better than 11th, I'd say that for a mid-table finish anything between 11th and 13th (or even 14th) shall be fine. Amaroq
I think the key adjective is "Safely mid-table." To my mind, this one isn't so much about specific placing as "Look, just keep us comfortably clear of the relegation battle".
