Without knowing the spec of your computer its difficult to give you a more helpful answer but you could try the following. 1. Stop all un-needed programs from running including background programs. 2. If you have anti-virus software (and you really should) make sure that it ignores your fm folders. 3. Defrag your hard drive might be a good idea. 4. Search google for something called game booster and run it before starting fm. This is a free program and it will do step 1 for you!
