FM 8.02 Patch and create own football player help

Hi i wanted to know which folder do you save the patch in and how can you create your own football player and put him in the game.

Save the patch in SI> FM08

Use the editor to create a player.

where can you download this editor

the editor is installed along with the game

where, i am kinda new to this, where exactly can someone walk through this with me

Go to:

Computer/C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008

It should be in there

To create a player:

1. click file, then load, load the database you want to edit.

2. once it has loaded, click edit > create player.

3. enter all the details and everything.

4. click file save as (do not save it as the original database), enter a name and author etc. and click save.

5. open up FM 08 and click new game, load up the database you just saved (with your new player)

6. play as normal from then on.

Hope this helps

The one you get with the game, your created player will only appear when you start a new game with that database.

If you are already IN a game, you can use a third party editor like FMM.

It's okay, but I find that if you use it too much the games get a bit dull.
