Banner Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Having spent an hour searching the forums I have found others with the same problem however I have not found a solution. I have the boxed version of the game, verified via steam and the patch has automatically downloaded. The game runs fine however every time I launch the game I get.... Performing first time setup... Installing DirectX for windows (step 1 of 1) I have downloaded and installed the latest version of DirectX. Now whilst it is not a major problem as the game loads after a few minutes it can be annoying having to wait, and why do I have to do a first time setup EVERY time I run the game?
