ken1985 Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 How's it going lads i got fm10 through steam and it was running fine last night, however today i patched the game and anytime i go to play now it just says no cd in drive, anybody be able to help me out here am dying to play patched game and cant shouldn't have bought from steam, So can anybody help me out?? Bardi Golriz Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 This is because you installed the patch manually. There was no need as Steam automatically downloaded patch 1 for you. Right click FM 2010 in your Steam client (My Games tab) and click on "Delete local content". Then right click again to re-install - this should give you a fresh install on Steam with 10.1. martinsummers Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 Right click the game in steam, Properties, Local Files, choose "Verify Integrity of game cache..." Might help you out with not downloading all of it again but I suspect it can't "fix" the files only identify the corrupt ones and fetch those again.
