FM Data Editor Problems....

The Data Editor has changed. No longer will it save an entire new database but it will generate a "changes" file that it will apply to the database. You should be able to choose which files you want to use when starting a new game.

The Editor's Hideaway is the best place to ask about editor issues.

It is now no longer possible to edit the default database; instead, edits are saved as xml files which are then loaded when you start a new game.

You may need to clear your cache to see your editor fata files when you start a new game - instructions are in the FAQ thread, post 2, in the Editor's Hideaway.

I have just got the game and am going to make a few changes in the editor then download the patch tomorrow and start my game on Sunday but...

If I make changes in the editor now will the patch overwrite these changes?
