Robin_ellis_19
On the tactics screen, I see a symbol next to the shirt colour and number (to the left of the kit), and I can't figure out what it is, sometimes it goes grey/silver then green... Could someone tell me what it is? Also on the tactics screen, next to both of my RB and LB I see an offside flag, and I want to know what it specifically means please? Neji
Blue = Defending Role Grey = Support Role Green = Attacking Role I think that's what it represents.
walsh
well the arrow that points backwards means defensive, a block means supporting, forward arrow/block thing means attacking.
Dinaldo
I believe the offside flag is how high up the pitch your defence will try to play, though I maybe wrong:thup:

playmaker
The offside flag means that you are playing the offside trap - I'm surprised no-one made that connection! Defensive line is displayed by moving the defenders up or down the pitch.

I never and ever will play the offside trap, so in this case no it doesn't represent the offside trap. well the arrow that points backwards means defensive, a block means supporting, forward arrow/block thing means attacking. Are you on about the faint black arrows on the tactics screen with all the players?

Basketcase
the faint lines that run the full length of the tactics pitch show the passing/attacking style used. all three arrows = mixed arrows on left and right = attack down flanks arrow on left or right = yep you gussed it! attack down left or right

John Smith
I never and ever will play the offside trap, so in this case no it doesn't represent the offside trap. It is the Offside trap. Suggest checking your offside trap settings again.
