Continuity?

Recommended Posts

Is there any one who beleives that continuing your save into the next version of the game would be a good idea? IE a team you are having fun with and still wanting to play the new game.

I'm aware it may be a technical issue and i'm not demanding it's inclusion just asking if the idea would be viable with punters and practical with SI?

Nice to hear what people think replies from both sides.

I personally think it would be great

Was just thinking the same thing myself funnily enough. I am in my third season with Real Madrid on FM09 and am doing better than I have in any other FM save but will probably drop it and never get back to my mighty Madrid team after Friday:(

You are exactly who i'm directing this toward, anyone with this sort of situation, knowing that their new game will totally consign 09 to history, (or can this be changed, SI?)

It would be amazing, but unfortunately, SI have said it isn't possible.

They also said a competition editor wouldn't be possible ;)

Competition Editor?

Are we going to have one?????

Not possible or cant be bothered?

We will see how much support we get!

The way I've liked to think of it is:

All player and staff attributes from loaded leagues are saved. So are league positions, form, morale, and such. SI release a program that extracts that data and transforms it into a save file for the next game.

I have no idea if that's viable though.
