J lambden Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 My steam is not loading and just says "Connecting to Steam Account: (username)". Is it just because the server is busy?,because this message has been on my screen for 30 MINUTES now. I cannot load steam at all and with the release of the full FM10 game on Friday, I would like the problem solved before then. Can anybody suggest something or tell me why it is not loading? Looking through the Steam forums it seems according to some members there to be a problem related to a previous Steam update. Go to C: (or whatever hard drive you put it on) > Program Files > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Football Manager 2010 Demo > Fm.exe (I think that's what it's called). I've recently done a clean OS install (putting on Windows 7 professional, replacing Windows 7 RC), and so had to reinstall Steam in order to carry on playing GTA IV.
