Dicey
Hey folks, I was wondering if FM 2010 would work faster on my laptop than FM 2009. I thought I've read something like this on the internet (can't remember the site), but I'd like to check this with you here on this forum. I have downloaded the demo and it works fine, but I'm afraid that (just like FM 2009) the game becomes (too) slow when I select several more competitions than only one. Someone who can tell me something more on this issue. I know the full game isn't out yet, but maybe there are some indications towards answering my question. fmobande
i feel like it might not be faster when you put in more leagues .. i don't know . if it is faster only by a bit .
Veg
They have tested it and it is faster than FM2009, Think you can read about that in one of the blogs.
ACMilanBRA
Not sure overall but almost everytime i open the tactics screen it takes like 3 seconds to load
MIR17
I find the demo much faster than FM09 personally
Twellman24
Yeah, good point. The FM09 demo was slower=hence the game should be faster. Now, if you add 457 lower leagues, not really
bigboroman
I found the demo to be well faster than 2009. Way more enjoyable. Roll on friday!!!!!
arsenal_2111
To be fair, the demo is always a lot faster because it has a small database. But yeah, the blogs said that testing proved the game is quicker than FM09.
dirtyscarab
I've found it much much faster, but as arsenal 2111 said, I'm anticipating it to be as sluggish as a drunken tortoise with arthritis when I've added a large db and the 60ish lower leagues
Dicey
They have tested it and it is faster than FM2009, Think you can read about that in one of the blogs. Could you give me the link to the specific blog so I can read it (again?) myself? Edit: Never mind, I found it already: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/blogs/football-manager-2010/Football-Manager-2010-new-features-blog-Day-23-Speed-tests-and-Paulo-Nutini-article180613.html

lee50_11
yep thats a good blog got my hopes up about the speed so can't wait for the game
Lazylen
Maybe the game runs faster with only one or two leagues selected. But how about the speed when you select all playable competitions?
