Only bought the last FM, but definitely Vagner Love then a series of Midfield Regens

In my Athletic save on the FM 2010 demo, Fernando Llorente has been great for me. I mainly played with Tottenham, and have played with strikers such as Pogrebnyak, Defoe, Keane, Higuain, Marquinhos, and Keirrison- I was never able to get any of them to score as much in a whole season as Fernando has for me in my half-season:

Hockton on 09 was the my best and favourite striker, he was consistant and helped me win the title with his finishing and strength.

96 - Matthias Sammer - Always signed him and played him at sweeper, regularly got 15-20 goals a season!

Then a blank spell of insprational signings until

08 -Van der Vaart, quite simply my best signing ever. Banged them in left, right and centre from AMC for Newcastle.

From my last 09 save:

Salvatore Foti: went form a near flop to a superstar, got the EPL top scorer in his 2nd season after only playing 17 games from start (the first league game from start for him was in January). Got the top scorer and golden boot 4 seasons in a row after that.

Andres Guardado: didn't score a lot, but he made assists like there was no tomorrow. He had over 50 in all competitions regularly.

i had Allesio Cerci on cm and he was a god for me.. on FM i like Wes Morgan, his strenght make's him a brick wall in the lower leagues and he gets at least 10 goals a season from corners..

Attributes dropping like flies now. He had a great start to the season, scoring 60 goals in 18 games, but only managed 62 more for the rest of the season. He only needs 230 goals now. Next season, I'm going to keep him as fresh as possible. He will only be playing in the Champions League, NIP, All Ireland Cup, Semi - Finals and Finals of domestic cups. That means, he'll probably only play 40 games next season. So 100 goals is the target.

Also Chris Bart-Williams on CM 93. Had a regen called Juan Pable Manzana Dani Molina (AM R) on an early version.

Had 1 AWESOME regen striker on '09 called Diego Melero. Became record goalscorer and captain of Spurs and Spain. His description was 'Legendary striker'. Made me weep happy tears.

A regen midfielder Carlo Arena on FM09. My first proper successful regen. I wish I still had axx. to that save.

sharp for Sheffield united on fm08 scored so many goals in my first year at championship level then I got a job at man city and signed him and he was still banging in the goals. ahh good times

Its either gary Speed who was a surprise massive success for aston Villa Helping my team to a 4th and 2nd in the league when he was only ever supposed to be a back-up, Or Ashley Chambers for Leicester City who broke into the team towards the end of the season during a striker injury crisis and helped the team to regain form and stay in the playoff places in the Championship and then scored the winning goal in the playoff final to get promotion and then! helped them stay up in the premier League in a team slightly lacking in the quality i needed.

you are skilled in many ways of how to defend a woman's attack

Think it's Alessio Cerci for me - averaging a goal or assist every game throughout his career. A former skipper and all-round awesomeness, only complaining once about a transfer to Milan as a youngster (I went on to finish higher than Milan that season). The only thing stopping him from passing the 700 games mark was injuries - he had a terribly injury-hit career.

Even in his final years, he was capable of pulling off moments that made you spit juice all over your keyboard. At 38, he hit a hat-trick against top opposition, no set-pieces, from an average of over 30 yards. For his final game, he scored and got an assist against Torino in the Italian Cup final, and Torino were (and are) the second-best team in Italy at the time, with a young squad around him. He averaged over 7.00 in all his seasons with me making double-digit appearances in all but one season where he was injured for 6 months, even in his old age. He's currently managing Lazio and likely annoying his boyhood club Roma, although he's not the greatest manager in the world, and his transfer activity dubious at best.

i've also got a another great player and its my 2nd favourite he's a RM called Paine I brought him 1st season hes young and English and great , always made goals , always did goals as well hes my star winger . he had a future and could even improve more , that's why i liked him i know he will be in my team till the end . and had the most avg rating in my team each season

definitely Juan Vargas for my Fiorentina side on 09, closely followed by Montolivo in the same game

A warning however: you need to spend your life on FM for that.

Ally McCoist in the earlier versions my all time hero in real life.

A player called Andri Sigaburson (or somethink like that) from the CM days think around 00/01 Striker with ok stats that scored many many goals for me, he was ace for me and i only found him by chance when played his team in a friendly.

To be fair, dont seem very really does it... I mean someone scoring all those goals and he's still at your club, yes you dont have to sell anybody but I's of thought he'd have wanted to move, Is the league that easy to score in as never done a league there.

This is maybe going back a few years but Fernando Cavenaghi is an FM legend in me eyes. He stuck out for me in both CM 03-04 and FM05! You could get him for quite cheap and he would be amazing for 15 years. No problems just got one with the job. Never injured and seemed to get the odd biycle from time to time!

Gary Mulligan was a beast in my first half season with Gillingham in FM08. Took over in January when Gills were mid table and took them to the title, Mulligan scoring most of the goals. And Kieran Lee was helpful too. Shame that after that Lee left as his loan expired and Mulligan seemed to stop scoring although I still hold him in high regard. After taking them to the top of the Championship I got bored and went to Waterford in Ireland.
