davyrob
probably not in the right section but I made the foolish mistake of putting my name the wrong way round as in FM09 you enter your surname first, so now my name is backward normally i would have just panned mygame and started again however by the time i had noticed the demo had ended and my aberdeen team are on a 17 game unbeaten run and im sittin top of the league and this will never happen again How can i get this changed to be the correct name without having to wait for an in-game editor
SWaRFeGa
No way to do that. Stuck with it. I wouldn't recommend continuing with the demo anyway
dirtyscarab
Unfortunately I don't think that's possible. I'd start a new game when the full game comes out as there will be a small patch release with it, and also with the full game you can edit playable leagues/db sizes etc.
PGB_SPURS_FM09
Isn't there an in-game editor already made for 10? I haven't used it but i saw somebody on the forums saying one has been made for the demo
Blanchflower1
There is no way to do this.

Puevlo
You should be able to do this. For example, say you're a female manager but then you want to get married later on. You should be able to change your surname to match that of your husband.

Puevlo
Believe it or not but people get married every year. It's highly possible their names will change in the middle of the game. Or even for example, maybe your mum has a new boyfriend, and they get married. So you, as the child, have to change your surname too. So you should be able to change your name within game without editors.

andylad
more likely is this name cockup to be honest, I've done it and I know several other who have it was also useful for posting screenshots if you didn't want your real name out there, just nicking yourself gave you instant anonymity
Russ_WWFC
Just leave it be, there should be an in game editor not long after launch. Or you can just add a manager with the proper name when the game comes out, if you really want to keep the game going
andylad
I know its not exactly a big issue but I still wouldn't mind know why they've taken it out it surely can't have been causing to many problems?
davyrob
the problem i have with in game editors is the temptation to cheat and give myself loads of money, or heal my players if they get injured guess ill have to live with it guess, suprised as well that the nickname has been removed
