jordanpomeroythfc1 Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 ok, i started a game with qpr (8.0.2) and im doing awful and i dont know why. this is all the info on my team P: 7 W: 1 D: 1 L: 5 im playing a 4-4-2 attacking formation with the arrows all the way up this is my transfers in: Anichebe Daryle Murphy George Boyd Valvidia Billy Sharp Eric (brazilian defender) Scott cuthbert Jiminez (coming in july 2008) Bogdan Stancu PLayers out: Rowan Vine Damien Stewart This is the team i currently play: GK: Pickens DR: Fitz Hall DL: Barker DC: Cuthbert DC: Eric MR: Valdivia ML: Boyd MC: Rowlands MC: Buzsaky FC: Anichebe FC: Stancu S1: Camp (gk) S2: Mancienne S3: Bolder S4; Mohan S5: Sharp I thought that was a good team but obviously not, any help would be much appreciated, i keep losing and i dont know what to do lol, this is also posted in the tactics forum, didnt know were to put it lol thanks xxx Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Lambs Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 A problem of your own making I am afraid. By bringing in so many new players the team is no longer gelled. The assistant manager feedback tells you how the team feel about each other. When they have been together longer then your have a bit better consistency. Until then, have a look at the "stickied" Tactics Bible thread in the tactics and training forum. Loads of useful information in there to get you tarted on the way to success. I think there is a emphasis on having a DM on the pitch in a lot of the successful tactics that I have seen. I player a 4-4-2 my self with one team, but one of the midfielder is more defensive. I change it every game (sometimes 3 or 4 times within the match, even though it's the same 4-4-2 setup) - sometimes short slow passing, sometimes fast direct passing. Defend deep, or high up.
