how to transfer game to new computer

Hi, my work just gave me a new laptop and I need to figure out how to transfer my wsm 2008 to my new laptop. I'm clueless and the email that had all of the download info is no longer accessable.

Do you mean the program or the save?

You'll need to re-install the program for sure. Then make sure you are patched up to the same level as on your old computer. Then find your save game on your old computer, note the location and put it on a usb stick or similar. Then put the usb stick into your new computer and extract the save to the same location you took it from.

Yes, the program not a save. I installed from on-line. I don't have a download file. I have the patch file though.

Ok, I think I found every file on the old computer and transfered it. Now, when the game 0pens, it gets to the load screen but asks for the game cd. It wasn't a cd it was a digital download.

I think I'm close, but what do I do? Is there a file to edit?

any help??? I hate to sound desperate, but I need my WSM 2008!

where did you download it from?

I think Boonty games but they don't even list it anymore. The biggest problem is the confirmation email is in microsoft outlook express and it crashed on me when I updated new video card drivers for some reason. It has not worked since. That was my email program. I've tried email extraction programs and they simply lock up just like outlook express. I've got it on my home computer but cannot find an activation key anywhere in the program.
