13lue13ird Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 A similar thing happens to me when negotiating existing contracts; if a player is approaching the end (you usually get a six months heads up) and then I negotiate a 1 year deal I then get anther heads saying that their contract is about to expire. They know want even more money to sign a newer contract! Suck! To get them to stay another year they have to sign a 2 year deal. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
