trekman
Thats why I'd much rather have a dvd than download through steam.
NeilUK
Steam won't crash Last year when the FM09 game started to download it was amazingly quick when everyone was downloading it, also lets not forget that about 20 other games that Steam sells was released at the same time. Steam will handle things fine
Falastur
Steam doesn't crash when it gets lots of traffic, it merely throttles connections, giving latecomers slow downloads while it tries to push the earlier ones through as fast as possible. When you get further up the queue to download your download speed goes up to full and they try to get you done ASAP too so more people can get through. Yoav17
Last year you could download most of the files few days before D-day, and only the final activation on that day. Is it the same this year?
Freagle
Last year you could download most of the files few days before D-day, and only the final activation on that day. Is it the same this year? Couldn't see a reason why not mate.
DougyMarshall
Left4Dead2, one of Steams biggest pre ordered games just started pre loading the demo... the number of people trying to pre load the demo alone is huge. I ended arriving an hour late (was playing a game)... started downloading it.... 4mb/s and it was done in 11 minutes.
