TheMister
Is player reputation linked to their CA? That's the only explanation I think of. Even so, to have an Italian International defender with a reputation of only 'Regional' seems far fetched. OK, continental may be a bit much in some instances, but you'd think if he was good enough to play for his country (a top side too) that his reputation (IRL) would stretch to National. SCIAG
No, reputation is separate. There are three different reputations, Home, Current, and World.
TheMister
OK mate. That being the case, and sorry if I'm missing something obvious, why would an Italian international defender have a reputation of 'regional'?
dankrzyz
No, reputation is separate. There are three different reputations, Home, Current, and World. Can you explain these different reputations? It seems like many/most top division players have "regional" reputation. Very very very few as "national" or "continental". Or so it seemed when I was looking through a number of FM10 clubs. I'd like to add "all players with national reputation" to my custom database for my new game, but how many players will this include? Will I get a good, big collection of the continent's known players? Or will sorting by reputation give me all kinds of goofy players that won't be useful to my save?
