playing the demo issue: Steam

i downloaded the demo through steam, but when i click on the logo on steam to play the game it says "the game is currently unavailable, please try again later". I'm on Vista by the way, and i've tried restarting Steam and i'm having no luck. Any Ideas how i can actually play the demo?

start the demo without using steam.

go to my comp/program files/ steam app/ fm demo/ click exe

Happened to me earlier but I kept trying and it finally loaded.

I can't seem to find the .exe file through looking through the folders for the demo, and persistance isn't working either: any other ideas?

Try this

Go to C: Program Files - Steam - Steam Apps - common - Football Manager 2009

Inside this folder you will find the FM10.exe

Create a shortcut here, and drag it onto your desktop and run from there

i've gone into the FM10 demo folder, and the FM09 (i'm assuming that's a mistake on your front) and there's no sign of the FM10.exe file. I've tried downloading again but it just tries launching the demo through steam, and it comes up with the same message. Thanks for the help anyways It's getting a little annoying though It's a good job England's on...

I did this on the message "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_41.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Any ideas?

I keep getting the error about saAUDIT.md.dll and i've put the file into my steam/fm 10 folder.
