FM 10 American Regens

In FM 09 the regens were not regenerating with any where near the potential of the top american players in the game. this made it impossible for the American national team or american's in particular to gain in stature as the years go on. this is greatly out of step with reality as american soccer has progressed rather than regressed during the past decade. does anyone know whether the regens in the next version will be more realistic? will they at least be as good as the players are now? it makes little sense to have the quality of footballers get worse.

really you thought so? in mine A LOT of the american regens tend to have very high PA's one season they had 6 180 pa's at once 3 of which were strikers.

try a large database, make sure u load both Canada and the USA because Canadian clubs do tend to develop a few Americans. As well as make sure the MLS is on.

I always found that they had a whole whack load of great regen's maybe its just an anomaly

I suspect that the quality and quantity of regenes will be dependant on the reputation of the national team and league so if that ha gone up in the last year, then it may well happen

I have had some great American Regens, it is just a matter of luck really.

You could also download a retain players edt. That helps a lot with spreading out regens, so that you will often find a five star player from a country like Costa Rica (not as often as the major nations but at least they turn up).

Had many top American regens and also many Turkish talents.
