Wee Aja
What's wrong with this picture (I've cut out the club, nationality and name of this player so it doesn't burn the eyes out of our fellow LLaMas): He is a Natural Central Midfielder, but is also accomplished at DM and AMC. What does his positions say? Defensive Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder (centre), [*club*] Not even a mention of his natural position!? No no no! He is a CENTRAL MIDFIELDER. Why doesn't it say that? This really annoys me, especially when I sifting through my shortlist and I'm looking for (obviously) a NATURAL CM. I will actually look past this player because (according to the game) he's NOT a natural CM. Ridiculous. Just list each player's natural position first, and then you could check his position screen to see where else he can play. SI like to mess about and do things arse about face, don't they? CaptainPlanet
Yeah annoys me too
charlo116
I think when a player is at least accomplished in both MC and AMC it shortens it to just AMC in their position description, like my current AMC: he is natural in MC and accomplished in AMC and AMR but his position description is AMRC. H Y P Z
Actually they announced this will be implemented in FM10.
x42bn6
To be fair, is there a player capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder but not a central midfielder? The M/AM nuances always amuse me.
MSCCG
To be fair, is there a player capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder but not a central midfielder? The M/AM nuances always amuse me. Always thought Pirlo was one of those. Guess it would just be a technicality though.
Wee Aja
Actually they announced this will be implemented in FM10. Really? I missed that one. That is good news. To be fair, is there a player capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder but not a central midfielder? The M/AM nuances always amuse me. Fair point, it's just an irritant. PhroX
I remember back in 08, I had a player who was described as something like MC/AMR. His natural positions? AMC and MR....
Wee Aja
I think the best way to list a player's position would be thus: Player Name Midfield [central], (Defensive Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder [central]) You know? List his natural position and then add all his other positions in brackets. Sorted
gaz_man
It is slightly annoying, but I've had a player who the game said was an AMC, but when i checked his position screen, he showed as red there, so basically useless. He had ML, MC, AML as positions, but no AMC
